Thanksgiving Holiday in Raleigh, NC

I spent thanksgiving in Raleigh, NC this year with my family and friends and it was one of the best thanksgivings that I had in a while! I can't believe that it was a whole YEAR since i'd been to NC--this trip definitely inspired me to visit more often.

I am an only child so being able to spend time with my parents is so important (6 months went by since i'd last seen them). I got to see my best friend who I haven't seen since 2012 (even though we talk everyday) and my best childhood friend/sister who I haven't seen in 3 years; I even got to meet her 4 month old baby for the first time.

Although life gets hectic in NYC, taking time out to spend with the ones you love is essential.
