DIY December: French Vanilla Almond Milk

Almond milk is a great alternative for people who are lactose intolerant, vegan and/or wanting to stay away from dairy. You can pretty much find almond milk in every grocery store. Even though it is a healthy alternative to milk; store-bought almond milk still has ingredients such as carrageenan (which causes inflamation), phytic acid (prevents your from absorbing certain nutrients) and added sugars!

I decided to try making almond milk on my own and ended up loving it! It's super easy to make, affordable and it tastes just as good as store-bought almond milk.

What I love the most about making my own almond milk is that I know exactly what is going into it.
