Affirmations: The Power of Words

I’ve always believed in the power of words and speaking what you want out of life into existence. Speaking what you want for yourself out loud is also an exercise of faith, and with faith big things happen.  If you are feeling discouraged, impatient or lacking motivation, I strongly recommend reciting positive words to shift your mindset.

From my personal experience, affirmations help me stay motivated. I am constantly telling myself that "I will have everything I want in life". And these words encourage me to get up and work harder so that this can be true. Affirmations can help you stay focused on what you want to achieve. Saying "I can have whatever body I desire, I will get the results I’m working for" gives me the drive I need to get up and go to the gym on those days I really do not feel like working out. I don't believe in making statements like "I can't", thats a load of crap, it's actually a lie from the pit of hell. There's nothing I can't do. And just saying those words can cause you to lose ambition. If I get an idea, I know I can make it happen. Why else would God place is it on my heart. If you believe it, you can achieve it (#RKellyvoice). So to paraphrase Love & Basketball, - Can't should never be in a woMAN's vocabulary, cause if you say can't, you ain't a woMAN.

Here are some great affirmations for staying motivated:

I will have all the desires of my heart.

I am talented, gifted and I have purpose.

I will be successful.

I can conquer any challenge.

I am determined and will not stop until I achieve my goals.

No weapon formed against me shall prosper.
