NYFW17 AMCONYC Fashion Week Presents: Marina Micanovic S/S 17' Runway Show

One of my favorite months in NYC is September. The leaves start to get crisp, people return to the city after vacationing all Summer and New York Fashion Week is in full effect. I love walking around the city during NYFW and seeing everyone slaying as they are rushing off to the shows.

This Fashion Week, I went to two shows -- one of them being Marina Micanovic's S/S 17' Runway Show presented by AMCONYC. This show took place at Studio 450, an amazing loft space in Midtown Manhattan. Before the show started, The French Workshop served up amazing cappuccinos and pastries!

Fall is my favorite time of the year, so I decide to wear a fall-inspired outfit paired with my new favorite booties.

Once the show started, I was impressed with the aesthetic of the collection. All of the pieces were gorgeous and perfect for women wanting to make a bold statement through fashion. There were bright colors, handcrafted details (think lattice inspired) and fringe. I love that Marina's collection are pieces of art--her work is so unique and innovative.

I usually stick to a color scheme of black, olive and nudes but Marina Micanovic's S/S 17' collection has inspired me to try bright pieces like jackets and skirts this Spring!

I have truly been inspired by Marina Micanovic's collection and I am looking forward to what this amazing designer comes up with next!
